David Tatman is the President of The Tatman Group. David brings nearly 20 years of governmental relations and association management experience in service to our clients.  David has worked for and represented a vast array of professional and trade associations in a variety of capacities.  Mr. Tatman has assembled a team of tip professionals from other professional and trade associations that bring diversity and depth to The Tatman Group and provides a team that is second to none. 
David has provided government relations services through The Tatman Group for many large corporations and professional and trade groups.  David is well known for his tenacious approach to the legislative process and his work ethic.  He is well respected in the halls of the Louisiana State Capitol for his honesty and integrity. 

His career in association management began as the Director of Development Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. Mr. Tatman created a public relations program that enabled the hospital to develop an unparalleled force in both the health care and non-profit organization arenas. Mr. Tatman was recruited by one of the most successful trade associations in Louisiana in 1990 and set records for membership development and revenue generation for the association. 

In 1997, Mr. Tatman formed The Tatman Group. In the first year, the company landed a most impressive client list, representing business and professional organizations from throughout the country. David has represented some of the top industries in the country.

In 2003, Mr. Tatman was recognized in the Baton Rouge Business Reports Top 40 Under 40. Each year, this local business publication recognizes the 40 individuals for their involvement and leadership in business and the community.  Mr. Tatman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in Psychology from Nicholls State University. He resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife Maria and their children, Carley, Morgan and David, Jr.
