Financial management is a critical part of any association. Leaders are accountable to their members for the fiscal integrity of association. We believe this is one of the most important and most manageable parts of running and association. We work with the board to set policies and procedures to ensure accountability and integrity.
We require each association we work with to hire their own CPA to work with us. It is important that the CPA work for the association and not The Tatman Group. The CPA should be accountable to the board. The Tatman Group works with that CPA to keep costs down and to develop guidelines and procedures that meet the standards of the board. This is one element of control that ensures that the association board is protecting the interest of the individual members.
